He came to me over 50 years ago.
This is my public confession. It was Sunday morning. Out of the blue, I decided to go to church. My friend said he knew where to go. We were going to go there unpresentable as a joke and got there just when the Kahu started preaching, discussing the parable of talents.  Matthew 25:14-30. God spoke thru him answering all my questions telling me there are many options and possibilities. God opened my eyes to an assurance of hope. I learned I could have life with Jesus. What a joyous day that was. My life was forever changed.
It was my senior year in HS. With God’s grace I was able the attend bible college and graduated. Not sure what to do, I set out on a lifelong dream by joining the Navy. After 9 years, obtaining a master's along the way, I separated honorably @ Pearl and moved to the BI in 88.
I settled down, got married, and started a family. In Hilo now 38 yrs, I have worked in the field of mental health @ various agencies retiring as director of operations with a nonprofit. Additionally, I have volunteered at New Hope facilitating small groups and helping out here and there. Also, after 20 yrs with NH, I moved to Haili and helped out there eventually becoming the head deacon. Unfortunately, I had to resign d/t a huge bitter root I was unable to pull out. 4/20/25 10  as we pray very earnestly night and day to see you face to face and to complete what is lacking in your faith? [1] Seeking to Perfect Our Faith In 1 Thessalonians 3:10, Paul writes, "Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith." This verse highlights the apostle's deep concern for the spiritual well-being of the Thessalonian believers. Paul’s words reflect a fervent desire to return to them, to encourage, teach, and help them grow spiritually. When we consider the context of this verse, we see Paul’s pastoral heart. He understands that faith is not static; it requires nurturing and support. His prayer is an acknowledgment that despite their strong faith, there is always room for growth and greater understanding. Is that what this group is for? Me: Peter rather than question why not give some pointers regarding go fund me accounts. For example, know who you're giving to. Research the cause and the person. Never give blindly not knowing who's behind it. As you well know I had to generate a go fund me account because of your insistence on taking me to court ignoring the judge's comment that you didn't have a strong case. You failed in your assault of the first amendment attempting to silence my criticism in your involvement of a fire at Haili apartments and your slanderous lies toward Kahu. Go fund me accounts can be helpful if needed in a righteous cause. It sure did help me. Unlike you I was not going to court without representation.
